Spring is here

It's been a busy couple of months for us. We celebrated Franks birthday in San Francisco and went to a Giants baseball game. Fun for all. Then in May we went down to Bakersfield, CA for a church convention and it was a different experience than what we planned on. The convention was great, but after a few hours down there we found out that the refrigerator in the RV would not run on propane for some reason. Since we were"boon docking" which means we are completely "self-contained" and have no electricity or water, we had to keep our generator running about 4-6 hours to keep the food in the refrigerator from going bad for the 4 days we were there. Then coming home, we hit a terrific rain and wind storm and the windshield wiper on the passenger side (thank goodness) BROKE! It started to go horizontal, you really don't want your windshield to go horizontal. We got out of the rain storm and continued the next mile with no rain. We got home on a Sunday and took off again on Wed. (by car) to Arizona to see granddaughter Tiffy Lytle graduate from ASU on Friday morning. We left AZ on Saturday p.m. so Frank could get back to Merced, Ca by Monday for work. It was a busy week and fast trip, but we had a good time. Took the RV in for the repairs and it seems that a bug or small something got into the small valve of where the propane goes into the refrigerator and blocked it up. Fixed my windshield wiper and checked Frank's side and found his was very loose also. Sure glad his did not come off. Now we are starting to get things together for our trip back to Michigan which will probably be sometime the last part of June or the first part of July, depending on Frank's work load. Weather here in CA has been (for me) a the cooler side. Last year the temp here on this day was 103 degrees, today it is a nice 70.
