Well we are finishing up our 5 day stay here in Traverse City, MI. Have had a great time and have taken a few road trips around the area and out to the tip of the finger at the Grand Traverse Bay area. Drove around the other day for 4 hours and made a complete circle from where we started. Then the next day we took off and did the touristy thing. Went to a few wineries and enjoyed the beautiful area. It reminded us of Napa. The weather has been perfect with nice warm days with lots of sun and blue skies and the evenings have been great for campfires, which we have had every
night. Looking at the stars away from city lights are unbelievable. I forgot how huge the sky is at night, hahahahaha. We can even see the "Milky Way" it is so clear here. We will hate to leave, but since Frank is a member of this area's wood turning association, there is a good chance we will be back for the monthly meetings while we are in Michigan. Most of the members leave and go to area's where it is warmer when winter comes, so he won't be missing out on much while we are at places that are warmer than Michigan.
