10:00 a.m. – Headed out for Sturgis, SD today and Rapid City. The temperature is on the cool side about 60 degrees but sunny.
11:00 a.m. – Hit Sturgis and bought my traditional T-Shirt. There are lots of motorcycle riders here and more expected this weekend. The Rally does not officially start until next week. Sure glad we will be gone by then. We drove downtown and saw “the sights” and there were some sights to see. Stopped at our Black Hills Gold Store that we had stopped at before and Frank bought me a beautiful Black Hills Gold Watch and 2 black hills gold pins with the letter A and the letter T. He is sooooooooooo sweet. The weather is about 68-70 degrees and it is OK for me but everyone else thinks it is great weather and loves it. We did a big loop around the Badlands of the Black Hills and then came back to the RV Park. Another great day and we got back home before dark!! Whoopee!! We had dinner and sat by the campfire. It smells so good being parked in the middle of the woods where this RV Park is.
