July 16-17th

Well after a good nights sleep in the Adobe Resort, it rained all night and now on our way to Dave and Sandy's place in Longview, WA. We took the Oregon Coast up to Newport, OR then crossed over on Hwy 20 to I-5. A lovely route, did not really appreciate the winding road of Hwy. 20, but glad we took it. Arrived at Dave and Sandy's with rain off and on. On the way to their place we got into quite a bit of rain, which did not please Abby at all. Dave and Frank went into Dave's wood shop and whittled away for hours and heard a lot of grinding of wood and laughter going on, but being a "man cave" us women were not allowed unless it was to tell them it was time to eat. hahahahaha

Sandy and I went into town on Sunday, and the guys were still buried in the wood shop, finishing up their project they started on Saturday. We had a great 2 nights there and lots of laughs. Abby enjoyed taking a walk every day trying to chase all the cats in the neighborhood and not succeeding.
