Ready to move on up

We left on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 for out trip back to Michigan. the weather here in Merced is beautiful.. Only 75 degrees now and the high today should be 85 degrees. We stopped for gas in Turlock, CA for gas where it was only $3.45 a gallon. We are headed for Lyle and Elaine's for the evening and then on our way to 101 and the coast. Our destination for Wednesday night is Arcata, CA. Going there was a beautiful trip and we stopped a some of the smaller towns that surround Clear Lake. A beautiful day with good temps and a relaxing time. Pulled into a small winery called Ceago in Lake, Ca off of Hwy. 101. Stopped and checked out the town of Fortuna and also Garberville, CA.. Garberville was a real hippie town and very interesting.

Settled in for the night in Arcata, CA right off Hwy. 101. Tomorrow we are hoping for Florence, CA. Had a great day today and all is well. Driving the car is much easier and quieter than the Motorhome and very relaxing for both of us.
