Up and out the door at 6:00 a.m. to go to George and Sharon McGill's placein Birch Bay which is just at the Canadian Border. We got there a littl

e early so decided to drive into Canada. We drove around the city of Surrey and then came back across the Border to the U.S. Going over, Immigration had to walk around our car because there was no license plate number coming up on his computer, probably because we don't have a front license plate and also our spare tire partly covers our plate in the back. Then coming back to the U.S.

they made us pull over to the side, roll all the windows down, checked out the car and then they let us continue. With no front plates and 2 rifle looking things sticking out of the front (for towing) they probably thought we had a "James Bond" car. hahahaha. We visited George and Sharon and they made us a delicious BBQ lunch. Another beautiful

sunny day again. About 3:00 p.m. we headed back down towards the outskirts of Seattle to a town called Redmond where we met up with Frank's niece, Kristilyn, her husband and their two children, Charlie-8yrs. and Nora - 6 yrs. Had a GREAT time with them and saw their "house in progress". they are remodeling it themselves and have done a lot of work since they

bought it just a few yrs. ago. Charlie and Nora are very friendly, excitable and great kids. Made us laugh a lot and just loved Abby. Kristilyn is a Family Lawyer and her and two other lawyers are starting their own firm, so it was nice that she could take some time off to be with us for a few hours. Turns out they live only about 1 hour from the KOA Campground where we are staying. A long day but well worth it.
