11:15 a.m. - Going through a little town on I-94 East in N.D. called
Jamestown. A cute billboard said "North Dakota Commute" and it showed an empty freeway. (Like this pic.) Which is true - we have not seen much traffic this morning. 72 degrees and still overcast, but no rain thank goodness.

Been the cheapest gas so far at $2.57 gal. and they gave us free coffee!! What a deal! On our way to MN to meet up with another Mesa, AZ wood turning buddy, Bob. This is a new route
for us on HWY. 10 East. We are going to meet him at a restaurant called Perkins, outside of a city called "Detroit Lakes" which is where he lives. Warm and still overcast and humid.

4:30 p.m. - at Wadena, MN where a tornado went through here a few days ago. Did some pretty serious damage, as the pics show.
7:00 p.m. Stopped in a small town and had a bite to eat and now on the road to Duluth, MN area for the night. We could not find any where to park here on US HWY. 10 East, so we have to continue for awhile.
8:15 p.m. - Finally pulled into a KOA outside of Duluth, MN for the night. Nice weather, been a long drive today.
