After breakfast, we took another walk around Victoria. We walked along "Government" Street which is the main drag, and visited a few shops. Went inside The Empress Hotel which also has very $$$$$ items. Then we went to the Butchart Gardens and saw very impressive and beautiful flowers, waterfalls, fountains. We must have walked about 4 hours total today. We took a drive up the peninsula and decided to just go on the ferry and cross over to Vancouver, BC. Got to the ferry terminal and got right in line. We finally arrived at Vancouver at 8:00 p.m. A very tiring, long day. We called a couple of hotels before we finally got one that had a vacancy and took pets. Not knowing the towns, this Best Western was in a town just outside of Vancouver and it is in the middle of ASIA! lol lol.We had to drive about 8 miles and all that time it was all Asians. China, Korean, Japanese. Our room is great and very clean. We noticed a few different things besides "eh". (Which we have not heard a lot of yet). Busk Stop - Coffee Whitener - Washroom - Brown Bread. The American dollar is only worth $.95 here. We get ripped off every time we spend money. Also the gas prices here run from a low of --122.9 to 130.9. We don't know what that means, but I think we will find out tomorrow. LOL LOL

Oh, and our complimentary breakfast is next door at the Chinese Restaurant - that should be interesting. Never had a Chinese Breakfast before. Check out the pic of the sign we saw driving down here. (Indian Style Chinese Food). Ready to call it a night and see what tomorrow brings.
