Up and ready to go on our Boeing Factory Tour. We got picked up right at the campsite. We had a behind-the-scene look at how they build the Boeing plane and what they are planning for the future. We were on the top floor overlooking the assembly of the Boeing 747, 767, and 777 and the newest 787 Dreamliner. It is amazing how they assemble these HUGE planes. The smaller 737 plane which is the most popular, is used for more instate flying and are produced about once a day! The bigger planes are use more for oversea flights and are out the door about 18 a month. Almost sounds impossible as to how fast they can put these out, but with 70,000 people working for them, they are little ants crawling on the plane! We had an excellent guide and he called himself a "Boeing Brat". Meaning his whole family have lived and worked at Boeing since he was born and he remembers coming to the plant as a little kid with his Dad. Each of the huge 6 hangers in the main building are as big as a football field! I loved every minute of the tour and Frank also was impressed as to how huge and powerful these planes are. Did not know that Mr. Boeing was born in Detroit, Michigan. There is a saying -- when you go up to the ticket counter you say "if it ain't Boeing I'm not going". hahaha
I'll try that next time I fly. A beautiful day again today, with 75 degrees and sunshine. Suppose to be beautiful all week. Boy did we luck out!!

Sounds like you are having a great time. I lived in Washington til age 16 and never toured it. We will have to do that. My sis Bonnie lives in Bremerton. Have a good day.
I went to Sweet Home yesterday and picked up Milah and Maren for a few days. Love Shirley and Chuck

sorry about two comments!
Sounds like you guys are finally taking LOTS of time to travel and stopping to have fun! Nice to see. Remember when you go on your cruise that that MIGHT be the same one Jenni was on when she got engaged! I love Seattle, go to the fish market and make sure you see that crazy place - it's pretty coo.
